Leadership
Juan G. Avedillo
Velchanos is led by professionals with a track record in strategy consulting, technology operations, and venture building. Our founder, Juan G. Avedillo, holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de Valladolid and a Master's in Neural Networks from Carnegie Mellon. Former McKinsey Associate Partner, Partner at The Cocktail (WPP), and former Co-CEO and COO of Nextail, he currently teaches Consulting Problem Solving in the International MBA at IE Business School.
With a background in Industrial Engineering and a track record of successful turnarounds and scaling tech ventures, Velchanos bridges the gap between high-level strategy and operational execution.
